Municipal Mosquito Control Programs
NVMC has a combined 35 years of experience running all aspects of municipal mosquito control programs. We understand the importance of a public health mosquito control program in detecting and mitigating risk from mosquito-borne diseases like Eastern Equine Encephalitis, West Nile Virus, and Jamestown Canyon Virus. We strongly believe in the integrated pest management (IPM) approach relying on surveillance data and understanding of mosquito ecology to treat breeding sites at the right time for maximum efficacy. As members of the Northeast Mosquito Control Association and the American Mosquito Control Association, we regularly attend lectures from top entomologists and ecologists to stay up to date on the current best practices for modern mosquito control.
